Day 1937: Love, Family and a Wedding

When all is said and done love is all that remains – that’s what I keep realizing.

 

It’s 9: 06 AM on day 1937 of my journey towards independence prayed, read 2 Corinthians 3 listened to music and learned one new thing -Left-handedness is less common than right-handedness. Left-handed people are more skillful with their left hands when performing tasks. Studies suggest that approximately 10% of the world population is left-handed. Mixed-handedness is the change of hand preference between tasks.

 

Yesterday my cousin got married the ceremony and reception were beautiful everybody we knew showed up I guess it’s a testament to well my cousin and her husband have lived the whole day was filled with so much love. Welcome to the family chachen you’re officially one of us we have your back now and forevermore.

Day 1900: Making every day magic

We have the power to fill every day with magic – that’s my message to the world.

 

It’s  12 : 30 PM on day 1810 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray,  read 1 Corinthians 1, publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing  –6 to 8 months after planting, bulb ceases production of new leaves. Nutrients from the leaves descend to the bulb, which becomes ready for the harvest.– have breakfast, make sandwiches for the kids in our sisi’s (housekeeper’s) neighborhood with sisi’s  help as part of  Virginia’s Sandwich Run –(thank you sisi for all your help today) – and do some work.

 

This morning it occurred to me that we have the power to fill every day with magic by being grateful and expressing love every moment of every day.

Day 1852: Love

Love knows no distance and no time – that’s what I realized today.

 

It’s  5  :  20 PM on day 1852 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray,  read John 18, publish my Disability of the Day feature,  learn one new thing –The average male lion weighs around 180 kg (400 lb) while the average female lion weighs around 130 kg (290 lb).–have breakfast and hang out with family.

 

Today while I was with a loved one I realized that love knows no distance and no time it takes root in your heart during the simplest moments.

Day 1816: Speak Your Heart

Speak your heart – that’s my message to the world.

 

It’s 1: 16 PM on day 1816  of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray, read Luke 6,    publish my Disability of the Day feature,    have breakfast,  learn one new thing –There are a range of different types of clouds, the main types include stratus, cumulus and cirrus.–   and promote my Educate Generations campaign – $4 710 raised  so far with only 29 days to go. Let’s  get to $5 000 (there’s going to be huge event in our community tomorrow I could tell everybody about the campaign while I’m there but I sort of promised my family that i wouldn’t ask anybody they knew for donations directly so I’m handcuffed by my promise hopefully the campaign will still get to $5 000 before 3 October though [darn it why did I have to be a woman of my word]).

 

This morning I was thinking about how most people die with a lot love in their hearts because they don’t want to sound mushy by expressing their feelings I have no such problems if I love you I will make it known to you because that love I feel in my heart belongs to you not to me. Life is short speak your heart (even at the risk of sounding mushy).

Day 1814: Me, Love and a Lemon Tree

Love is not something that is earned it’s something that is given to you freely all you can do is accept it with grace and try to put a fraction of it back into the world – that’s what I am beginning to realize.

 

It’s 12 : 56 PM on day 1814  of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to read Luke 4,    publish my Disability of the Day feature,    have breakfast,  learn one new thing –It would take hundreds of thousands of moons to equal the brightness of the sun.The full moon shines with a magnitude of -12.7, but the sun is 14 magnitudes brighter, at -26.7.  The ratio of brightness of the sun versus the moon amounts to a difference of 398,110 to 1.– pray,  and promote my Educate Generations campaign – $4 710 raised  so far with only 31 days to go. Can we get to $5 000? (she asks with no shame LOL 🙂 ).

 

Yesterday being Spring Day Catherine Constantinides planted a lemon tree in my honour (thanks so much Catherine it’s one of the sweetest things anybody has ever done in my name in my 24 years of life [see Catherine’s tweet about the lemon tree below] ) often I see the world’s generosity and love towards me and I wonder what I ever did to deserve it but I’m beginning to realize that love is not something that is earned it’s something that is given to you freely all you can do is accept it with grace and try to put a fraction of it back into the world.

To shorten (a number) by dropping one or more digits after the decimal point. – have breakfast and promote my Educate Generations campaign – $3 372 raised so far (thanks all)

 

This morning I woke up feeling nauseous and eventually threw up (too much information, I know and I’m sorry) God bless my parents they were up with me at 4 AM holding my head into a bucket I can’t imagine loving other people so much that no task would be too disgusting. Thanks mommy and daddy for being there for me through thick, thin and everything in-between I sincerely appreciate it more than you will ever know.

Day 1760: Getting everything you want in life

It’s 12 : 30 PM on day 1760  of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth,  pray, read Zachariah 10,    publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing –Aplomb [a·plomb] n.  Self-confident assurance, skill, and poise – especially in difficult or challenging circumstances. – have breakfast,   promote my Educate Generations campaign –$3 301 raised so far (thanks so much everyone 🙂 ) – and hang out with my sister.

 

This morning I realized that when you follow your passion and love the life you have everything else will fall into place so often in life we chase people instead of our passions not realizing that when we become the stars in our own lives the right people will come to us.

Day 1733: What Cynthia Reminded Me About Love

It’s 12 : 15  PM on day 1733 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray,  read Micah 1, publish my Disability of the Day feature,     learn one new thing –Among the most accomplished and well known of the world’s deep-sea explorers, Robert Ballard is best known for his historic discoveries of hydrothermal vents, the sunken R.M.S. Titanic, the German battleship Bismarck, and numerous other contemporary and ancient shipwrecks around the world.–feed myself peanut butter and banana sandwich for breakfast, make sandwiches for Cynthia’s ( our housekeeper’s) neighborhood with Cynthia’s help as part of  Virginia’s Sandwich Run – (thank you sisi Cynthia for all your help) –   and promote my Educate Generations campaign– $3 045 raised so far.

 

Yesterday seeing how much love our housekeeper, Cynthia, put into cleaning our windows and how much pride she took in her work I was reminded that the love with which you do things makes all the difference.

Day 1655: Words + Actions = Love

People who really love you don’t just say it they also show it in a million different ways– that’s what I keep realizing.

 

It’s 12 :  30 PM on day 1655 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to  pray, read Ezekiel 15 and publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing – Uranus has at least 27 moons.All of the Jovian planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune) have large numbers of moons. Some of them are very small, asteroid sized objects that are difficult to detect. So the exact number of moons is unknown, but at this time 27 are known to exist.  watch the Australia vs. India  World Cup match,  exercise,  feed myself bran flakes for breakfast and promote my Educate Generations campaign– $2 558 raised so far 🙂 .

 

Today I realized people who really love you don’t just say it they also show it in a million different ways I know with a hundred percent certainty that some people in my life love me and would do anything for me while others just show up on special occasions or use me to pass the time I try to focus on the people who love me but it still hurts when you realize that the people you would do anything for wouldn’t do the same for you.

Day 1648: Focus on those who love you

Forget about the people who ignore you and focus on the people who love you – that’s my message to the world.

 

It’s 12 :  15 PM on day 1648 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to  brush my teeth,  pray,  read Ezekiel 8, publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing – Not only is yogurt a delicious and healthy snack option, it contains high levels of lactic acid that promote healthy skin. Dating back to ancient India, yogurt has long been used as a natural moisturizer to revitalize dull, dry skin– watch the India vs. Bangladesh  World Cup match,promote my Educate Generations campaign– $2 435 raised so far I am SO GRATEFUL 🙂 –  exercise,  feed myself egg and bread for breakfast,  continue watching the cricket  and continue promoting the campaign – $65 more to raise to reach goal I’m not giving up I know God is doing this through me so the goal will be reached and who knows maybe even surpassed eventually I just have to work hard and be patient.

 

Recently I realized that I should forget about the people who ignore me and focus on the people who love me most of us chase after people who ignore us while totally ignoring those who are actually there for us which doesn’t even make common sense.
