Day 1795: How to get people to listen to you

If you don’t talk to people about things that don’t matter they aren’t likely to listen to you when you talk about things that do matter– that’s what I realized yesterday.

It’s 12 : 40 PM on day 1795  of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth,  pray, read Matthew 27,    publish my Disability of the Day feature,    learn one new thing –Impugn [im·pugn] tr.v. To attack as false or questionable; challenge in argument: “To impugn a political opponent’s record.”– have breakfast and  promote my Educate Generations campaign – Tim Fargo, author of Alphabet Success – Keeping it Simple. My Secrets to Success and founder of TweetJukebox , donated $1 000 (yes, you read right) yesterday (thank you SO MUCH Tim you’re AWESOME you should have seen me yesterday I was in utter disbelief that someone could be so generous thanks again Tim your support really does mean the absolute world to me  :) ) which brings my total raised to $4 541 with 51 days still to go till the end of the campaign (SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has helped out so far 🙂  ).

Yesterday I realized that both offline and online if you don’t talk to people about things that don’t matter they aren’t likely to listen to you when you talk about things that do matter so if you want people to listen to you create an open channel of communication.
