Day 388

Using your talents for good is the best way to thank that which you call God– that’s what I learned today 🙂

It’s 7: 49 PM on day 388 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, feed myself pancakes with sugar and coconut for breakfast,  edit my short stories– see why in the next paragraph– tweet about my Clean Water For All Campaign – no luck –  prepare and publish my Disability of the Day feature, feed myself rice and curry for lunch, watch TV, go visit people and feed myself yoghurt for dinner.

This morning as I was laying on my bed racking my brain as to how I can raise the rest of the money I need for my campaign Betsy’s comment on one of my previous posts popped into my mind Nisha, have you partnered with anyone to give a portion of the proceeds of the sale of their product or service to your Project? If I make and sell gingerbread houses this year I’ll donate $5 from every house sold. I’ll let you know as soon as I figure out what I can do. Try asking around for similar commitments. I’ll bet you’ll be surprised! Good luck. which is when it occurred to me that I could do the same with Lessons money can’t buy – a book consisting of all the short stories I had written over the course of my teenage years every story is a lesson I’ve learned told through the eyes of different characters – so after much editing I have made it available for purchase in PDF format – click the ‘Buy Now’ PayPal button below to buy yourself a copy and I will email it to you ASAP (Note: Only 50% of every sale goes to my campaign I keep the rest). Are you using your talents for good?

Are we connecting on Twitter? If not, say hi at http://twitter.com/Nisha360

If you’ve given to my cause or you can’t give now, please help me by sharing my cause with others. You can tweet about it like my friend Stan Faryna. This is the tweet he uses: @Nisha360 is a brave, smart young woman trying to make a better world for us all. Please help her do an amazing thing. http://bit.ly/hC7vOu

Stan’s very sweet for saying so, but feel free to write what reflects you best.

Thanks to all my friends out there who are helping me make my dream come true: to make a better world for all of us!

Have something to say about this post? Please leave a comment I'd love to hear from you
