Day 2793: Thoughts of Syria

My life is someone else’s dream – that’s what I’ve realized.

It’s 12 : 49 PM on day 2793 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse, have breakfast and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet –  raised  $14 469 only $4 281 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to reach my new goal of helping 75 kids with Clubfoot by June 17, 2018.

Recently as I sat under the pretty blue sky my mind travelled to Syria I suddenly saw in my mind infants with bombs failing all around them then I came back to my reality of peace and tranquillity under the blue sky. Sometimes I wonder how all of humanity can share the same sky and yet live in such different realities. #ThinkingOfTheUnRoyalRoyalBabies #LostChildhoods #Syria

Day 1080: Being kind in a cruel world

We live in a cruel cruel world all we can do is be kind– that’s what I keep learning.

It’s 12  : 25 PM on day 1080 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray, brush my teeth,  feed myself Bran Flakes  for breakfast,  read 1 Samuel 14,   publish my Disability of the Day feature, tweet and Facebook about my campaign –  no one donated today but Anonymous  donated $10 yesterday (thanks again Anonymous) now I only need to raise $100  in the next 48 days to reach goal :) – and take off my dirty jacket and t-shirt and put on a clean t-shirt.

Over the past couple of days I’ve been seeing images of died Syrian children on the internet and on the news and those images haunt me to this very moment I will never in my life understand why two groups of people who have issues with each other let their anger spill over onto innocent people I guess we can’t make sense out of nonsense all we can do is be extra kind to make up for all the cruel people out there.

Praying for Syria.

Day 949

Give peace a chance– that’s my message to the world 🙂

It’s  2  : 38 PM on day 949 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray, feed myself All Bran Flakes for breakfast, brush my teeth,  read Numbers 2, publish my Disability of the Day feature,   practice typing with both hands,    practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles and tweet and Facebook about my campaign – no donation made yet so far but I still have 87 days to raise $1 000 so I’m not giving up and besides I’m on God’s team how can I possibly fail 🙂

Sometimes I watch the news with my head in my hands and wonder what the hell is going on what with bombs going off everywhere and people shooting other people for no apparent reason we only have one ride through this life it breaks my heart that some people would use the gift that is their life to hurt other people when they could choose to be a force for good in this world.

Praying for Boston and Syria
