Day 3150: The Power of Kindness

Kindness softens the toughest people– that’s what I have realized

It’s 2: 35 PM on day 3150 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse  and work on my 28 For 28 Campaign benefiting charity:water  – we’ve now raised $2 573 of $28 000 with 56 days to go

Recently I was reminded that kindness softens the toughest people while we think we need to be tough with tough people the opposite works best tough people will get tougher if you approach them toughly but they are powerless against kindness.

Day 3131: Only One Moment

It only takes one moment to turn a person’s day around– that’s what I keep being reminded of.

It’s 8: 24 PM on day 3131 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse, spend time outside and work on my 28 For 28 Campaign benefiting charity:water – thanks to Shija and Rodney’s $150 donation we’ve  raised $1566 of $28 000 with 75 days to go

Today an act of kindness reminded me that it only takes one moment to turn a person’s day around.

The Superhero Made My Birthday

Love makes the world go around– that’s what I keep being reminded of.

It’s 9 : 58 AM on day 3112 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse.  and work on my 28 For 28 Campaign benefiting charity:water – thanks to Anthony Scruggs, B Madhusudan, Kevin and others who wished to remain Anonymous  who donated in honour of my birthday we’ve raised $975 of $28 000 with 96 days to go

Yesterday on my birthday I was reminded that love makes the world go around people came,  called and bought gifts but my Superhero Catherine Constantinides stole my heart and soul she called 3 different times – morning, noon and night – she was with world leaders and still the person she most wanted to speak to was me that warmed my heart and when I thought she couldn’t outdo her own kindness she video-called me in the evening with a cupcake ,a candle and a special guest to help her blow the birthday candle out…I was so moved. She understood that she was my greatest gift so she gave me the gift of herself…it was the sweetest, kindest thing I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. Thank you Superhero i will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS love you

Day 3019: The Essence of Kindness

It doesn’t cost much to be kind because the essence of kindness is thoughtfulness – that’s what I’ve realized

It’s 2: 11 PM on day 3019 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse, spend time with family and do some work

Recently I was reminded that it doesn’t cost much to be kind because the essence of kindness is thoughtfulness and there are many different ways to show someone you think of them without breaking the bank. Be kind the little things mean the most.

Day 3008: To The Kind Man At The Mall

Sometimes the greatest acts of kindness are the smallest – that’s my message to the world

Spent the day with family

Today we were at the mall and this very kind man let us go ahead of him in line for the lift – he literally pushed his trolley out of the way and told us to go through – it was the smallest of acts but it meant the world to me because in that moment though he didn’t know me he put me ahead of him (literally).

Day 2999: Outdo Yourselves in Kindness

Even if all you do in life is love you’re living well – that’s my message to the world

It’s 12 : 45 PM on day 2999 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, send time outside, read a Bible verse and do some work

Today I was reminded that even if all you do in life is love you’re living well – my favourite thing to do daily is be kind and spread love (sometimes it costs money but most times it doesn’t ) it makes me feel good inside to outdo myself in kindness. Outdo yourselves in kindness

Day 2987: Fill your days with Goodness, Kindness and Mercy

Fill your days with goodness, kindness and mercy and suddenly all the other stuff fades into the background– that’s my message the world

It’s 1: 47 PM on day 2987 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray read a Bible verse, and do some work

Today I was reminded that when we fill our days with goodness, kindness and mercy, suddenly all the other stuff fades into the background so from today onwards I’m going to fill all my days with goodness, kindness and mercy.

Day 2962: 8th Alive Day #AliveDay

courage d

Fill every day with goodness, kindness and mercy – that’s my message to the world.

It’s 1 : 15 PM on day 2962 of my journey towards independence and I managed to  spend time outside, read a Bible verse  and do some work

Today I celebrate my 8th #AliveDay – 8 months since my surgery – I remember the pain and if I should ever forget the large scars on my arm remain to remind me but I’m not defined by pain I’m defined by purpose. Around Alive Day I do something good for others thus turning an otherwise merely painful event into something beautiful. Please do a good deed today, take a pic related to the deed, tag me (@Nisha360) in the tweet and use #AliveDay8. Help me celebrate life.

Day 2956: A Little Lost

It’s okay not to have all the answers– that’s what I’ve realized

It’s 10 : 40 AM on day 2956 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, spend time outside, read a Bible verse  and do some work

This morning I found myself thinking I want to be kind but how am I supposed to do it from inside this house – my parents have work 5 days a week I don’t expect them to drop  everything to chauffeur me around – I know I want to live a life of positive impact, kindness and love but at this precise moment I’m a little lost as to how to go about that I hope inspiration strikes me soon meanwhile I’ll be working.

Day 2954: My Almost Failure of Kindness

It’s never too late to correct one’s mistake– that’s what I’ve realized

It’s 2 : 42 PM on day 2954 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray,  read a Bible verse, go to church, spend time outside  and do some work.

This morning I noticed a homeless man on the church steps and although I rolled past him both on my way in and out I couldn’t forget about this man so I emailed the reverend asking if we could help this man and the reverend replied thanking me for my concern and saying the man got lots of money from the congregants and that he’s fine for today promising to keep an eye on the homeless man I’m so glad I emailed otherwise my failure of kindness would have kept me awake tonight
