Day 2470: “Teenage Heart” by Lady Antebellum

Remember when the night turned up

And sun went down

If just for a moment

We were falling at the speed of sound

Yeah, the moon played a part

Two shadows in the dark

Beating with a teenage heart

Beating with a teenage heart

– Lady Antebellum, “Teenage Heart”

It’s 12 : 05 PM on day 2470 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read 1 Samuel 2: 6-7, have breakfast, and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – GregThis, Stan Faryna, David Boutin and Anonymous together added added $135 to my fundraising total which brings it to $285  (thanks to them all )  only $12 215 more to raise in 363 days to help 50 kids with clubfoot ( we can do this i know it).

Day 2465: “The Stars” by Lady Antebellum

Life is a beautiful messed up mystery
Yeah, it’s true, it can make you laugh, it can cut you deep
Sometimes you gonna feel like a million bucks, sometimes a burned out cigarette
But whatever comes your way, no matter what, don’t you ever forget
The stars ain’t got nothing on you
Your heart burns much brighter than the moon
If you ever lost and broken inside
Just remember the way you helping me shine
The stars ain’t got nothing on you

There is only one great mystery

And I keep searching for the answer desperately

Tell me, tell me baby, tell me please

What did I ever do

To make you fall for me

Day 1322: “Compass” by Lady Antebellum

You wanna give up ’cause it’s dark

We’re really not that far apart

So let your heart, sweet heart

Be your compass when you’re lost

And you should follow it wherever it may go

When it’s all said and done

You can walk instead of run

‘Cause no matter what you’ll never be alone (never be alone) oh oh oh

Never be alone oh oh oh

Lady Antebellum, “Compass”

It’s 12  : 00 PM on day 1322 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray,   brush my teeth, read Psalm 13, feed myself  bran flakes for breakfast publish my Disability of the Day feature,  Kid of the Week feature and promote my Eradicate AIDS campaign –still no luck I’m going to a barbecue later in the afternoon i’ll mention my campaign and see if anyone wants to help I doubt it seeing as most of the people I’m going to see there blatantly ignore the emails I send them about my campaigns but it’s worth a shot so I’ll give it a shot 🙂
