Day 1984: Taylor Swift’s speech at the 2016 Grammy Awards

“As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame, but, if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going you’ll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be the greatest feeling in the world. Thank you for this moment.” – Taylor Swift

It’s 12 : 00 PM on day 1984 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read 2 Timothy 3,  learn one new thing –it is true that they are mammals, but dolphins only have hair when they are first born. This hair is found on the top of the rostrum, which is the dolphin’s mouth, and falls out within two weeks. Dolphins do not grow any other hair for the rest of their lives.–have breakfast and work on my 25 Smiles Campaign – raised $2 937 only $3 313 more to raise by 10 Jan 2017  (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far :)  ).

Recently I watched Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at this year’s Grammys I loved the power and class with which she dealt with Kanye West’s claim that he made her famous (in his new song “Famous” Kanye basically said he made Taylor famous).
