Day 1700: Happy Mother’s Day

“Mother’s love is peace. It need not be acquired, it need not be deserved.”- Erich Fromm

It’s 2 : 20 PM on day 1700 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray,   read Daniel 11, publish my Disability of the Day feature, publish my Kid of the Week feature, feed myself Puttu – a breakfast dish of steamed cylinders of ground rice layered with coconut – and chickpea curry  for breakfast  for breakfast, learn one new thing- Humans cannot hold their breath until they die. When carbon dioxide in your blood reaches a critical point, the brain overrides your conscious control and forces your body to take a breath.-   promote my Educate Generations campaign– $2 899 raised so far  :) – continue reading And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseni – we had loadshedding (again) –    and have lunch.

Today is Mother’s Day (happy Mother’s Day mom) and in honour of that I’m going to share with you an interview I did with my mom a few days ago. Watch “I interview my mom” below:
