Day 1574: Gratitude and Taylor Swift

“Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude. Gratitude is the completion of thankfulness. Thankfulness may consist merely of words. Gratitude is shown in acts.” – Henri Frederic Amiel

It’s 12 : 48 PM on day 1574 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to  brush my teeth,  pray,  read Isaiah 59, publish my Disability of the Day feature, publish my Kid of the Week feature, learn one new thing – did you know that despite their size, elephants can be turned off by the smallest of critters. One study found that they avoid eating a type of acacia tree that is home to ants. Underfoot, ants can be crushed, but an elephant wants to avoid getting the ants inside its trunk, which is full of sensitive nerve endings–  promote my Educate Generations campaign–  on $1 335  – feed myself a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast and continue promoting my campaign – still on $1 335 but I’m grateful 🙂

Recently I watched a video of Taylor Swift choosing, wrapping and sending holiday gifts to some of her most loyal fans I was blown away by how humble she was and how appreciative she was for the support she had she’s a popstar with all the money and fame that anybody could ever dream of and yet what she values most are the people who helped her get to where she is and that I think is part of the secret to her success and what makes her endearing to me and all her other fans. Watch “Taylor Swift’s Gift Giving of 2014” below:
