Day 1419: Evolving technology and the apparent disintegration of humanity

“It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity.” – Albert Einstein

It’s 1  : 20  PM on day 1419 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to  pray, feed myself  bran flakes with banana for breakfast, read Psalm 107 and back up my files – the laptop I’m using right now is on its last hinges so I figured I better back up everything I need I’m not going to ask my parents for a new laptop because it’s a waste of money some people don’t even have food to eat I’m not going to ask my parents to spend R6 000 on a laptop when I could just use my brother’s laptop while he’s at school.

Today I realized humanity hasn’t evolved nearly as much as technology has just because we can share everything on the internet doesn’t mean we should some things should be kept sacred.

I wonder if humanity is actually evolving socially in any measurable manner? Is there scientific proof?
