Day 1156: 17 Foods I Want toTry Before I Die

It’s 2 : 28 PM on day 1156 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray,  read 2 Kings 14,   publish my Disability of the Day feature,  stretch my hamstrings, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles  feed myself Bran Flakes and boiled eggs for breakfast, read Does this child seem exploited to you?,  hang out with my sister and have lunch.

 

Last night after watching The Great British Bake-off I came up with a list of foods I want to try before I kick the bucket. Take a look:

    So many good things! Have the figs with some nice goat’s cheese on crackers.
    Eggplant is kind of meh in my opinion, but fried with feta it’s quite nice.
    Don’t have the preserved asparagus, buy them fresh and boil or fry them, then serve with real butter and salt.
    I like blueberries but not on their own – mix them with other berries.
