With rights come responsibilities – that’s what I keep learning.

It’s 12 : 03 PM on day 1155 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray, brush my teeth,  read 2 Kings 13,   publish my Disability of the Day feature,  stretch my hamstrings, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles  feed myself Bran Flakes and boiled eggs for breakfast and hang out with my sister.

This morning I was having a democracy versus single-party state debate with someone I know that my vote alone can’t remove a party from power and that political parties are notorious for making promises they can’t keep but I have been given the right to vote and it is my responsibility to do so my physiotherapist said it best when she said you don’t vote for one party over another you vote to break the power of the party that’s already in power.
