Day 1001: Praying for peace for Nelson Mandela

If you love someone set them free   – that’s what I keep learning 🙂

It’s  12 :  57 PM on day 1 001 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to  pray,  brush my teeth, read Deuteronomy 18, publish my Disability of the Day feature,   tweet and Facebook about my campaign –  no luck – stretch my hamstrings, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles,  feed myself an avocado sandwich for breakfast and practice typing with both hands.

A few days ago my hero Nelson Mandela was admitted to the hospital with a lung infection and ever since then people all over the world have been praying for his speedy recovery I myself am a little conflicted as to what to pray for on the one hand I, like the rest of the world, want him to live forever on the other hand I don’t want him to suffer so I have decided to pray that Madiba be at peace how ever that happens.
