Day 536

One of the illusions of life is that the present hour is not the critical, decisive one. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

It’s 8 : 19  PM on day 536 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, prepare and publish my Disability of the Day feature,  work, feed myself a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast, work some more, feed myself rice and curry for lunch,  exercise, continue working, feed myself bananas for dinner and  brush my teeth once more.

Today I turned down a business deal which would have increased my income and made me miserable simultaneously and although I knew turning down the deal was the right thing for me after I had done it I began to second guess my decision but then I thought to myself if it’s a mistake it’s a mistake it’s only money and that I guess is my message to you guys don’t focus on your bank balance too much rather focus on being a person of character because at the end of the day nobody can strip you of your character. Do you put too much emphasis on the past and the future and not enough on the present?

Stan’s very sweet for saying so, but feel free to write what reflects you best.
