Day 2164: Try

To fail in life is inevitable not to try is inexcusable   –  that’s my message to the world.

It’s 11 : 56  AM on day 2164 of my journey towards independence and I managed to   have breakfast, pray, read 1 Corinthians 13:12,  and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –   raised $7 225 only  $5 275 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ) .

Today I realized that whether people succeed or fail is inconsequential to me as long as they try their very best at all times.

Day 1529: Try

It’s important to try even if you think there’s no hope in hell of you getting what you want – that’s what I learned this morning.

It’s 12 : 16 PM on day 1529 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, read Isaiah 16,   publish my Disability of the Day feature,  promote my Educate Generations campaign–on $850 –  watch Baby Bootcamp with my sister – it’s a super cute above about a clueless nanny who finds a family in the family she works for – and  continue promoting my campaign – still on $850.

This morning I learned that it’s important to try even if you think there’s no hope in hell of you getting what you want in the past I used to get these grand ideas into my head and talk myself out of them for fear of failure or rejection but now I figure if I reach for what I want and don’t get it I lose nothing but if I reach for what I want and do get it I gain everything. Do you try even if you think there’s no hope in hell of you getting what you want?

Day 1400: “Try” by Colbie Caillat

Get your shopping on, at the mall, max your credit cards

You don’t have to choose, buy it all, so they like you

Do they like you?

Wait a second,

Why, should you care, what they think of you

When you’re all alone, by yourself, do you like you?

Do you like you?

Colbie Caillat, “Try”

It’s 12  : 04 PM on day 1400 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to stretch my hamstrings, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles,  brush my teeth,  pray, read Psalm 87,  publish my Disability of the Day feature, feed myself egg with bread for breakfast, and promote my Eradicate AIDS campaign – still on 108%

Yesterday I heard “Try” by Colbie Caillat it’s a beautiful song about accepting yourself as you are and not caring what people think of you I love Colbie for literally taking it all off to show girls that beauty comes from the inside-out.    Watch “Try” by Colbie Caillat below:
