Day 2466: When you share your struggle

When you share your struggle you also share your strength, courage and hope – that’s what I want the world to know.

 

It’s 10 : 34 AM on day 2466 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, have breakfast, read Malachi 3: 10 and learn a new word – Intrepid adj. 1. Resolutely courageous; fearless. Persistent in the pursuit of something. “A team of intrepid explorers.”

Yesterday I made a video and I’m  choosing not to edit out the parts where I stuttered, forgot my words and moved awkwardly because I realize that when I  share my struggle I also share my strength, courage and hope  (there’s perfection in imperfection you just have to get your ego out of the way to see that with clarity).

Maybe the story is in my struggle – that’s what I’m starting to realize.

 

It’s  12 : 10 PM on day 1800 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray,  read Romans 7, publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing  –Credulous; Credulity [cre·du·li·ty] n. A tendency to be too ready to believe that something is real or true. “A credulous rumor.”– have breakfast and work on my future project.

 

Recently I’ve started  to realize maybe the story is in my struggle maybe people are meant to see me struggle and know that one can still be happy and joyful and make a contribution to the world even when life is extra hard.
