Day 1633: Why I Smile

“I never get tired of smiling. I’m just the kind of guy who likes to smile.” – Jason Ritter

It’s  12 : 04 PM on day 1633 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to  brush my teeth, stretch my hamstrings, pray, watch the Pakistan vs, UAE Cricket World Cup match – I stopped watching a little while into the second innings the game was a forgone conclusion and all the players were just going through the motions my life is too short to even watch a cricket match where the players are not giving it their  all if I going to watch two teams play they better make it worth my while by giving it their all –     read Jeremiah 50,  publish my Disability of the Day feature,  learn one new thing – The depressed area of skin under your nose and above your upper lip is called your philtrum  –promote my Educate Generations campaign – $2 074 raised so far – feed myself a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast and continue promoting the campaign – $2 074 raised so far so grateful 🙂

Recently I’ve noticed that whenever my mom catches me smiling randomly she asks why are you smiling? to which I often reply with some bite that is uncalled for what do you want me to do cry? none of us needs a particular reason to smile just the fact that we are alive should be reason enough.

Day 1609: Smile through life

Smile even when things don’t go your way knowing that you still have a lot to be grateful for – that’s my message to the world.

It’s 12 : 37 PM on day 1609 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to  brush my teeth,  pray,  read Jeremiah 26, promote my Educate Generations campaign–  Juliana Mullan donated $50 (thanks SO MUCH Juliana you are AWESOME  🙂 ) only $680 more to raise  –publish my Disability of the Day feature, publish my Kid of the Week feature, go to church, promote the campaign some more – $1 820 raised so far SO GRATEFUL – feed myself egg with bread and a banana for breakfast,   learn one new thing –Octopuses have rectangular pupils– and continue promoting the campaign my campaign – $1 820 raised so far today I’m still so grateful 🙂

This morning I found out that something I thought was going to happen was probably not going to happen I was so bummed until I realized I still had a lot to be grateful for I had my family, I had my health … all was right in my world.
