Day 2716:  Live for the moment and LIVE IN THE MOMENT

The present moment is all you have live in it– that’s my message to the world

 

It’s 1 : 40 PM on day 2716 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read 1 Samuel 2:2, read my brother’s project and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – raised  $7 706 only $4 794 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot (thanks so much to everyone who has helped out so far).

 

This morning I found myself wishing that Thursday would come and go so that my surgery would be over and down with and it was in that moment that I realized that if I didn’t think differently I would waste today and tomorrow waiting for Thursday

 

Day 2536: Embracing Where I Am

I am exactly where I’m supposed to be at this time in my life – that’s what I know.

 

It’s 12 : 15 PM on day 2536 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read 1 Chronicles 16:10, have breakfast  and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet –Yesterday Anonymous  donated $30 and My Paper Parties donated $50 (thanks so much to them) which brings the total raised to $3 205 only $9 295 more to raise  by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot.

 

 

Today I realized that although sometimes I feel like I should be travelling the world and meeting new people I am exactly where I’m supposed to be at this time in my life literally there’s nobody else in the world doing what I do the way I do it (for the international non-profit work I do I never leave the house all I have is God, a laptop, an internet connection and a bit of time) if I didn’t live my story I would think the person who told it to me was either lying or completely insane.

Day 2263: Be Happy Now

Be happy now– that’s my message to the world.

 

it’s 12: 00  PM on day 2263 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, have breakfast,  read 1 Timothy 4:4-5  and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –raised $9 161.04 only  $3 338.96 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far )

 

Today I realized that if I wait for everything to be just right for me to be happy then I’ll never be happy so I’m choosing to be happy in this moment and every moment that follows because despite my occasional pain and discomfort I’m still alive and kicking.

It’s 10 :  13 AM on day 2237 of my journey towards independence and I managed to have breakfast, pray, read Romans 8:15 and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –raised $8 161.04 only  $4 338.96 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ).

 

This morning laying in bed staring at the ceiling I wondered what would become of future everything about my life is so up in the air sometimes that’s trilling and other times it’s scary as hell but however I feel I’m so grateful for this life and this day October 29, 2016 will never come again.
