Day 2824: Be Persistent

Be persistent it might annoy people but you might also get what want– that’s my message to the world.

 

It’s 11 : 49 PM on day 2824 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse, spend time outside – it’s such a beautiful morning and I never waste a beautiful morning anymore –  have breakfast and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet –raised $14 669 only $4 081 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to reach my new goal of helping 75 kids with Clubfoot by June 17, 2018.

 

Yesterday a certain political party called once again to remind me that June 6th was the day of the by-election and although their frequent phone calls over the past weeks bordered on annoying I went to vote because I live in the knowledge that my vote was bought with the blood of many  and I voted for said political party because I loved their persistence it reminded me of my own.

Day 2677: Carry On

When the world says NO be determined every single day and choose to carry on. Be a very kind bulldog– that’s my message to the world.

 

It’s 1 : 24 PM on day 2677 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Psalm 40:3,  have breakfast and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet –   A HUGE thanks to  who donated Air To Air Africa Ballooning  who donated $10   which brings the total raised to  $6 826 only $5 674 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot.

 

Today I realized that if you have the courage and persistence to carry on when the world says no things tend to work out (we often give up to easily in life but if we have the courage to ask when we think people say no and carry on if they do success will be ours)

Day 2641: Raging Against the Dying of my Light

The difference between success and failure is persistence – that’s what I’ve been reminded of.

 

It’s 2 : 12  PM on day 2641 of my journey towards independence and I managed to  pray,  read Matthew 25:40, and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet –-raised $4 976 only $7 524 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot (thanks to everyone who has helped out so far).

 

Today every part of me is saying screw it why am I the only who cares I have problems too but I’m going to rage, rage against the dying of my light I refuse to go gently into the night – I’m not just another number in the population statistic God created me to be extraordinary and I am going to continue behaving accordingly (even when every part of me wants to quit).

Day 1058: Never Say Die

It’s 12  : 03 PM on day 1058 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to   brush my teeth,  feed myself  All Bran Flakes for breakfast,   pray, read Judges 17,   publish my Disability of the Day feature,   tweet and Facebook about my campaign –  I did the best I could to inform people about human trafficking and slavery with two antibiotics in my system I hate being on drugs I feel like so dull  and to think all this could have been avoided if I just covered up my wound learn from my mistake never leave a wound open it will cause more trouble than it’s worth.

As of today I only have 70 days to raise $250 more to reach my goal of raising $1000 for the Not For Sale Campaign I may reach my goal with minutes to spare or I may reach it in the next two days but rest assured I will reach it I may not be the smartest or most eloquent person you will ever meet but I work hard for as long as it takes to achieve my goals and perhaps because of that I almost always end up reaching my goals I believe that to succeed in life you have to have a never-say-die attitude you have to basically believe you’ll succeed even when it looks like you’re going to fail. Are you where you are in life because you just refused to quit on anything you did?
