Day 2017: “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield

I am unwritten, can’t read my mind, I’m undefined
I’m just beginning, the pen’s in my hand, ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Oh, oh, oh

I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We’ve been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can’t live that way

It’s 12 : 46 PM on day 2017 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read 1 John 2,  have breakfast, learn one new thing – Clownfish, wrasses, moray eels, gobies and other fish species are known to change sex, including reproductive functions. A school of clownfish is always built into a hierarchy with a female fish at the top. When she dies, the most dominant male changes sex and takes her place.  –   have breakfast and work on my 25 Smiles Campaign – raised $3 482 only $2 768 more to raise by 10 Jan 2017  (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far :)  ).

Recently I heard “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield again after a long time the first time I heard it I thought it was a nice song but now it sort of describes how I feel at this stage in my life. Listen to “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield below:
