Day 1729: “Burn” by Ellie Goulding

When the light started out they don’t know what they heard
Strike the match, play it loud, giving love to the world
We’ll be raising our hands, shining up to the sky
‘Cause we got the fire, fire, fire
Yeah we got the fire, fire, fire

And we gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn
We gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn
Gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn
We gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn

Ellie Goulding, “Burn”

It’s 12 : 11  PM on day 1729 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray,  read Jonah 1, publish my Disability of the Day feature,     learn one new thing –On July 14, 1789, Parisians and militiamen stormed the Bastille prison—also a fortress—looking for powder for the 30,000 muskets and five cannons they took from the Invalides earlier that day. They emerged with the governor of the Bastille, whose head they cut off with a pocketknife and impaled on a pike.–feed myself egg with bread for breakfast,  and promote my Educate Generations campaign– $3 045 raised so far :)

A while ago I heard “Burn” by Ellie Goulding I loved the song because I could relate to the lyrics I too try to live on fire.  Listen to “Burn” by Ellie Goulding below:

Day 1716: “Limitless” by Colton Dixon

Doubt sees a mountain, no way around it

Faith sees a victory, no doubt about it

Fear sees a ceiling, hope sees the stars

Love be the light inside of our hearts

We are limitless, limitless

Limitless, limitless

The power of love

Alive in us

Is limitless, limitless

Unstoppable and nothing less

No nothing can hold us down

Cause we are limitless

Colton Dixon, “Limitless”

It’s 12 :  15 PM on day 1716 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray,  read Joel 1, publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing  -The opah—which looks like a “big, startled Frisbee with thin red fins stuck on as an afterthought”—is the only warm-blooded fish known to science. Other fish have body temperatures that match the water they are in, but the opah can consistently keep its entire body around 5°C warmer than its environment.–  feed myself a peanut butter and banana sandwich for breakfast and promote my Educate Generations campaign– Martin Holmér from Sweden   donated $46  yesterday (thanks SO  MUCH Martin your support means a lot to me 🙂 ) which bring my total raised to $3 000 (I’m SO GRATEFUL to everybody who has supported this campaign so far 🙂 )

Recently I heard “Limitless” by Colton Dixon it is a Christian song but the lyrics can apply to you even if you’re not Christian because the song is about the limitless potential of all human beings. Listen to “Limitless” by Colton Dixon below:

Day 1704: “When We Stand Together” by Nickelback

They tell us everything’s alright

And we just go along

How can we fall asleep at night

When something’s clearly wrong

When we could feed a starving world

With what we throw away

But all we serve are empty words

That always taste the same

–  Nickelback, “When We Stand Together”

It’s 12 :  00 PM on day 1704 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray,  read Hosea 3, publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing –Dolphins use distinct “signature whistles” to identify and call to one another. Each dolphin is thought to invent a unique name for itself as a calf and to keep it for life. – read Let’s care for the future by investing in global education by Benedict Joson – it’s a great article about our obligation to ensure that every child is educated –  feed myself a peanut butter and banana sandwich for breakfast  and promote my Educate Generations campaign– $2 899 raised so far so grateful as always 🙂 .

Day 1697: “Every Beat of My Broken Heart” by Hawk Nelson

But what if it had to be broken

With every beat of my broken heart

Hawk Nelson, “Every Beat of My Broken Heart”

To celebrate this one and only life

Danny Gokey, “One Life”

It’s 12 : 11 PM on day 1688 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray,  listen to Ezekiel 47, publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing –there are three reasons wolves howl, according to Doug Smith, senior wildlife biologist at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. (See “Wolves Identified by Unique Howls, May Help Rare Species.”) One is “to communicate to other wolves that this is their territory, or stay away,” he says via email. Wolves also howl to find fellow pack members when they’re apart—gray wolf howls can carry for miles—and for social purposes, such as maintaining relationships within members of the pack. [source of fact: Answering the Call of the Wild]– watch Introduction to RelationShift, read How To Go From Dreamer To Achiever: Success Living by Tamara McCleary – I love what Tamara writes in this post she’s right dreams without actions come to nothing everyone on the planet has dreams but what separates the dreamers from the doers is the actual doing –   feed myself a peanut butter and banana sandwich for breakfast  and  promote my Educate Generations campaign– Kevin Brooks donated $24 (thanks so much Kevin) which brings my total raised to $2 724 I continue to be humbled by the world’s support (Note to self again: Thank mom and dad for all the prayers they ever prayed for me).

Day 1684: “Tomorrow” by Unspoken

I give an inch to doubt and worry

They take a mile and wreck the story,

I chase the future ’til I’m tired,

This day cause it’s a gift

I can’t miss a chance

To leave it in Your hands

Things were all good yesterday
And then the devil took your memory
And if you fell to your death today
I hope that heaven is your resting place
I heard the doctors put your chest in pain
But then that could’ve been the medicine
And now you’re lying in the bed again
Either way I’ll cry with the rest of them

Day 1581: “I Lived” by One Republic

Hope that you spend your days

But they all add up
And when that sun goes down
Hope you raise your cup

I wish that I could witness
All your joy and all your pain
But until my moment comes
I’ll say…

I, I did it all
I, I did it all
I owned every second
That this world could give
I saw so many places
The things that I did
Yeah, with every broken bone
I swear I lived
