Day 1960: 21 Icons season 3 episode 18: Kopano Matlwa Mabaso

“To be South African is to inherit a painful but courageous history. South Africans are always looking at how we can do things better and I love being a part of that.” – Kopano Matlwa Mabaso

It’s 11 : 35 AM on day 1960 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Philippians 1, learn one new thing –The Moon is neither a star or a planet, it is Earth’s only natural satellite. Thought to have formed 4.5 billion years ago, scientists believe it is made from debris left from an impact between Earth and a large planet. It orbits our planet around once every four weeks, with one side of the Moon always facing Earth.- have breakfast  and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign – yesterday Paul and Juliet Merrell of Big Planet Radio donated $40 and today Beverly donated $25   (thanks SO MUCH  Paul and Juliet and Beverly  your ongoing support means the world to me :) )  which brings my total raised to $1 235 only $5 015 more to raise by 10 Jan 2017  (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far :) ) .
