Day 1123: Who do you believe yourself or other people?

If it’s a choice between believing what the world believes about you or believing what you know to be true about yourself always believe what you know to be true about yourself – that’s my message to the world.

It’s 12 : 22  PM on day 1123 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth,  feed myself  All Bran Flakes and a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast, pray,  read 1 Kings 2,   publish my Disability of the Day feature, tweet and Facebook about my campaign -after my Twitter exchange with Dave Batsone, the founder of the Not For Sale Campaign, I’m even more determined to raise as much money as possible for NFS he’s such a nice guy  – and practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles.

Yesterday afternoon reading Internalizing What Others Believe I thought back to the time when I believed I was “the sick one” because that’s how people kept referring to me when you’re a child you see yourself through other people’s eyes and believe about yourself what they believe about you thankfully somewhere along the line I stopped believing what other people believed about me and started believing what I knew to be true about myself.  Do you believe what other people believe about you or do you believe what you know to be true about yourself?
