Day 3136: Easter

“The gift of Easter is hope.” – Unknown

It’s 6: 52 PM on day 3136 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse, spend time with family and work on my 28 For 28 Campaign benefiting charity:water – thanks to Scott Harrison’s $156 donation and Elsa-Marie D’Silva’s $28 we’ve now raised $2 396 of $28 000 with 70 days to go

Easter Sunday always makes me feel renewed and hopeful I’m grateful for Jesus who died for me, I’m grateful that I’ve lived to see another Easter…I’m just grateful

Day 2756: Easter 2018

“Easter is meant to be a symbol of hope, renewal, and new life.” – Janine di Giovanni

It’s 9 : 55 AM on day 2756 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray,  have breakfast, read about The Resurrection of Jesus  and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet –raised  $13 334 only $5 415 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to reach my new goal of helping 75 kids with Clubfoot by June 17, 2018.

Today is Easter Sunday which is always a special day because every year on this day I’m reminded that I’m forever forgiven and forever loved regardless of what I do or don’t do God will never stop loving me and I will never be excluded I’m good enough. God’s love and grace can’t be earned just accept it and extend it to others

Day 2406: In God I am Able

In God all things are possible– that’s what I keep realizing.

It’s 12 : 33  PM on day 2406 of my journey towards independence and I managed to go to church, pray, read Acts 2:32-33, have breakfast,  and learn a new word – Derisive (de·ri·sive) adj. Expressing contempt or ridicule; mocking or scornful. “A derisive laugh.”

Today during Easter Sunday service the congregation was singing a song with the words my God is able and in that moment I had a life-changing thought if I am disabled and the God I believe in is able then I guess that cancels out the “dis”
