Day 1970: “Torches” by Daughtry

Love is like a torch that’s burning bright
Carry it on, carry it on and you’ll see
Fire will shine a light on the darkest side
Carry it on, carry it on

Daughtry, “Torches”

It’s 12 : 29 PM on day 1970 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read read 1 Thessalonians 3, learn one new thing –New Zealand was the last country in the world to be discovered and settled by humankind. The last habitable landmass of any size to remain unpeopled. It is the last country on earth to have been inhabited permanently by humans.– have breakfast  and work on my 25 Smiles Campaign – today  Gaynor Young wrote The Smile Givers (thanks SO MUCH Gaynor for blogging about the campaign) and yesterday both Joubert Botha, founder of JobVine, Hashtag Radio and OfLocal, and LA Janssens made donations (thanks so much you guys 🙂 )  which brings my total raised to $2 017 only $4 233 more to raise by 10 Jan 2017  (SO  GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far :)  ) One more thing: If you want to support this campaign but can’t donate money right now you can donate your social media platforms to this campaign visit www.thunderclap.it/projects/37413-25-smiles to get involved in this way (thanks so much again you guys for all your support much appreciated 🙂  ).

Day 1228: “Undefeated” by Daughtry

Music expresses what words cannot – that’s what I keep realizing.

It’s 12  : 00 PM on day 1228 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to  pray,  brush my teeth,  read 2 Chronicles 31,  publish my Disability of the Day feature, feed myself egg with bread for breakfast,   promote my Eradicate AIDS campaign –no donations so far today either I’ll just keep trying winners never quit and quitters never win – practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles and stretch my hamstrings – my right knee hurt so bad while my hamstrings were being stretched I hope I didn’t pull anything that’s the last thing I need right now.

A few days ago I heard “Undefeated” by Daughtry the lyrics of this song have so much meaning to me it’s my life’s new theme song. Listen to “Undefeated” by Daughtry below:

Day 1221: Daughtry’s “What About Now” Music Video

I am not alone in what I believe – that’s what I realized yesterday 🙂

It’s 1  : 27 PM on day 1221 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth,  pray,  read 2 Chronicles 24,  feed myself egg with bread for breakfast,  publish my Disability of the Day feature, promote my Eradicate AIDS campaign –yesterday Wayne Mansfield donated £20 on behalf of the Jindalee Foundation (thank you Wayne) and today Catherine Cook donated $25 (thank you Catherine) which brings my total raised to $84.74 I am SO grateful I have some awesome friends 🙂 – stretch my hamstrings – I hadn’t exercised in a few weeks (really irresponsible of me) so my hamstrings were tight luckily I didn’t pull anything – and listen to music.

Yesterday I stumbled across Daughtry’s “What About Now” music video that video said in four minutes and eleven seconds what I’ve been trying to say for the past few years. Watch Daughtry’s beautiful “What About Now” music video below:
