Day 2806: My Alive Day

Every day should be a celebration of life – that’s what I know

It’s 12 : 34  PM on day 2806 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse, spend time outside, have breakfast and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – raised $14 469 only $4 281 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to reach my new goal of helping 75 kids with Clubfoot by June 17, 2018.

Recently I decided that on the 22nd of every month I would celebrate my Alive Day (celebrating every month since my surgery on February 22nd 2018) everybody told me the surgery on the 22nd February would be a simple one but I knew that many times even the simplest of surgeries were botched so I woke up on the morning of February 22nd afraid that I would never see another sunrise and now the 22nd of every month (and every other day) is a celebration  of life for me. Being alive is a privilege.

Day 1589: Repent don’t celebrate

There’s so much that can be learned from religious institutions and religious leaders – that’s what I keep realizing.

It’s 12 : 05 PM on day 1589 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to  brush my teeth,  pray,  read Jeremiah 6, publish my Disability of the Day feature,  learn one new thing –It’s difficult to tell male and female cheetahs apart, but males are a bit larger and have a slightly bigger head than female cheetahs – promote my Educate Generations campaign– on $1 370- stretch my hamstrings, feed myself egg with bread for breakfast and continue promoting the campaign  –  still on $1 370 and still grateful 🙂 .

Yesterday at church the priest said (I’m paraphrasing) when good things happen to us we should repent knowing that it is purely by God’s grace and not by our own strength or talent that we have all that we have before he said that it would have never even crossed my mind to do that but I will do that from now onwards.
