Don’t walk behind me; I may not lead. Don’t walk in front of me; I may
not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend. – Albert Camus
It’s 1: 11 PM on day 405 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, publish my Kid of the Week feature, prepare and publish my Disability of the Day feature, tweet about my Clean Water For All Campaign – no luck – and feed myself pancakes with coconut and sugar for brunch.
As you know I love helping people who help others which is why I’m
sharing this tweet I stumbled across yesterday Ppl, take a min, like the
FB page. Feed a child! RT time 2 feed the world help @50cent
feed a millio… (cont) http://deck.ly/~TPA4q by @tenindenmark
(Tamela from Denmark) and reiterating her call for you to like this Facebook
page https://www.facebook.com/StreetKing and feed a hungry child – one like = 1 meal for a hungry child and if we get the page to one million likes by tomorrow which is one week from when the campaign started 50 cent (the rapper) will double the donation. Do you walk beside your friends and support them in whatever they do?
Are we connecting on Twitter? If not, say hi at http://twitter.com/Nisha360
If you’ve given to my cause or you can’t give now, please help me by sharing my cause with others. You can tweet about it like my friend Stan Faryna. This is the tweet he uses: @Nisha360 is a brave, smart young woman trying to make a better world for us all. Please help her do an amazing thing. http://bit.ly/hC7vOu
Stan’s very sweet for saying so, but feel free to write what reflects you best.
Thanks to all my friends out there who are helping me make my dream come true: to make a better world for all of us!
