If you have a mom, there is nowhere you are likely to go where a prayer has not already been. ~Robert Brault
It’s 6 : 29 PM on day 506 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, read Genesis 17 as part of my ongoing quest to learn more about the Bible, drink tea by myself, prepare and publish my Disability of the Day feature, work, feed myself rice and curry for lunch, work some more, exercise, continue working, feed myself yoghurt for dinner, brush my teeth once more and watch TV.
As you may or may not know today is my mother’s birthday – she turns 46(mom don’t kill me LOL) – and in honour of that I would like to say thank you for giving me life, thank you for giving me Neethu and Kevin – my sister and brother(they are a little annoying at times but my life wouldn’t be the same without them)- thank you for all your prayers(I know that you pray every for me to walk and although the answer to that prayer is no know that your prayers are making a difference in my life), forgive me all my trespasses against you and please try not to worry I am going to make it in this life I promise. Are you wise enough to know that you are where you are because of the prayers of your mother?
Are we connecting on Twitter? If not, say hi at http://twitter.com/Nisha360
If you’ve given to my cause or you can’t give now, please help me by sharing my cause with others. You can tweet about it like my friend Stan Faryna. This is the tweet he uses: @Nisha360 is a brave, smart young woman trying to make a better world for us all. Please help her do an amazing thing. http://bit.ly/hC7vOu
Stan’s very sweet for saying so, but feel free to write what reflects you best.
Thanks to all my friends out there who are helping me make my dream come true: to make a better world for all of us!
