With influence comes responsibility – that’s my message to celebrities.
It’s 12 : 00 PM on day 1626 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, read Jeremiah 43, publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing – Big Ben doesn’t refer to a clock; it’s actually the name for the bell inside that famous clock tower – feed myself a peanut butter sandwich and a banana for breakfast, have a foot bath – my foot seems to be alright (yay thanks God 🙂 )– and promote my Educate Generations campaign – my friend, Stan Faryna, who has donated to this campaign once before made another donation of $20 yesterday (thanks Stan your friendship and ongoing support means the absolute world to me 🙂 ) which brings my total raised to $2 050 only $450 more to raise.
Recently I saw a picture of a celebrity in her 20’s posing half-naked for a magazine cover I try to be as non-judgemental as possible and it is my firm belief that a woman should be able to do whatever she pleases with her body but if I were in a position to influence young girls I would never pose for a photo half-naked because I believe it is the responsibility of my generation and the generation before me to teach the younger generation that they are human beings of worth not just objects of lust.
I agree with you so much about celebrities using their influence responsibly. Glad to hear your foot is feeling better
Most young celebrities, I am sure, are nice people I just wish they would think about the people they influence before they do the things that they do.
