Day 1544: Nelson Mandela gone but never forgotten

Those we love and admire never die they live on in us– that’s what I keep realizing.

It’s 12 : 05 PM on day 1544 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, read Isaiah 29,   publish my Disability of the Day feature, stretch my hamstrings, read and comment on Asimbonanga: Nelson Mandela remembered,  promote my Educate Generations campaign–on $1 070 –  feed myself egg with bread and a banana for breakfast  and continue promoting my campaign – still on $1 070 but things could be worse.

Today marks the one year anniversary of Nelson Mandela’s death and although I am very said that he has left this world I find great comfort in knowing that he lives on in everybody who loves and admires him. Mr. Nelson Mandela I will never forget you thank you for all you’ve done for this country because of you and your friends I have the chance to change the world I promise not to waste it I promise I will make God, my parents and you proud.

Isaiah 29 is interesting. God promises to punish and humble Jerusalem for it’s failures to be holy. Yet God also promises that those He puts to humble Jerusalem will also be destroyed.
