It’s 12 : 10 PM on day 1072 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, feed myself Bran Flakes for breakfast, pray, read 1 Samuel 6, publish my Disability of the Day feature, take off my dirty jacket and t-shirt and put a clean t-shirt on and tweet and Facebook about my campaign – no one donated so far today.
On Friday my parents and I went to visit my granny in the hospital and just as we were about to enter the hospital I heard this little boy asking quite loudly what’s wrong with her, what’s wrong with her, what’s wrong with her until we were out of hearing distance I couldn’t help laughing I love kids they’re so honest if you have the choice between laughing or crying always choose to laugh life is too short. When you have the option between laughing or crying do you laugh or cry?
