When you’re differently-abled the “simple things” are the most difficult– that’s what I keep realizing.

It’s 11: 33 AM on day 2334 of my journey towards independence and I managed to have breakfast, pray, read Proverbs 3: 5-6 and learn a new word – Definitions for umbra
1. shade; shadow. 2. the invariable or characteristic accompaniment or companion of a person or thing.

Recently I went to the ATM with my family and I couldn’t help noticing if I needed to use the ATM there was no way I would be able to reach the keyboard (it’s the “simple things” that remind me that my life will  always be harder than most people’s).
