Day 1969: Losing the battle to win the war

Sometimes you have to lose the battle to win the war– that’s what I realized this morning.

It’s 12 : 15 PM on day 1969 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read read 1 Thessalonians 1, learn one new thing – Sea foam, ocean foam, beach foam, or spume is a type of foam created by the agitation of seawater, particularly when it contains higher concentrations of dissolved organic matter (including proteins, lignins, and lipids) derived from sources such as the offshore breakdown of algal blooms. – have breakfast  and work on my 25 Smiles Campaign –raised $1 742 so far only $4 508 more to raise by 10 Jan 2017  (SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far:) ).

This morning something happened that made me realize that sometimes you have to lose the battle to win the war oftentimes in life we get so focused on winning small battles that we lose sight of our end goal.
