Human beings are the most powerful living things on the planet in that we have the power to choose how we feel about what happens to us – that’s what I realized today.
It’s 12 : 38 PM on day 1877 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, read Acts 22, publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing –Taciturn [tac·i·turn] adj. Reserved or uncommunicative in speech; saying little. “Today the normally taciturn man would not stop talking.”- have breakfast and work on my potential future project.
Today I realized that human beings are the most powerful living things on the planet in that we have the power to choose how we feel about what happens to us I hope that one day everybody comes to this realization and embraces their power of choice.
Is there power in choice? Or is the power, which I would argue, in choosing well, choosing what is true, good and beautiful regardless of the cost, regardless of the sacrifice and regardless of the unchosen pleasures and desires which must be refused when choosing what is good
