Day 1833: 21 Icons season 3 episode 3: Thulani Madondo

“People need to be reminded that they are powerful and they can still achieve whatever they want to achieve, because at the end of the day you are what you think you are.” – Thulani Madondo

It’s 12 : 29  PM on day 1833  of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray, read Luke 23,    publish my Disability of the Day feature,  learn one new thing –Grasses are technically called “graminoids” and are usually herbaceous plants with narrow leaves that grow from their base. To break it down even further—there are 3 different types of grasses: Juncaceae (Rushes), Cyperaceae (Sedges, Bullrushes), and Poaceae (Grasses).. – and   promote my Educate Generations campaign – $5 025 raised so far with 12 days still to go till the end of the campaign (thanks SO MUCH everyone i REALLY appreciate your support 🙂 ).

Yesterday I watched season 3 episode 3 of 21 Icons featuring Thulani Madondo I feel like I discovered Thulani first since I wrote about him on this blog years ago when he was named one of CNN’s Top Ten Heroes Thuluni co-founded the Kliptown Youth Program through which he provides education for 400 kids from his community (23 of them have finished school and are now in university).  Watch season 3 episode 3 of 21 Icons featuring the fantastic Thulani Madondo below:
