Day 1825: It’s Not My Fault

It’s not my fault– that’s what I want the world to know.

It’s  1 :  20  PM on day 1825 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray,  read Luke 15, publish my Disability of the Day feature, publish my Kid of the Week feature, learn one new thing –Innervate [in·ner·vate] v. To stimulate or supply nervous energy.–   have breakfast,  have a foot massage using a foot spa – (i have poor blood circulation in my feet so to get the blood flowing and get rid of dead skin (gross, i know) my doctor recommended that I usee the foot spa often and apparently he knows what he’s talking about because (touch wood) I haven’t had a foot infection  the whole year [last year and the year before I had foot infections] – and promote my Educate Generations campaign –  $4 730 raised so far (thanks so much for the support everyone).

Today I realized that due to overtiredness people who have differently-abled people in their lives can sometimes be resentful of the fact that said differently-abled people need so much help and while I understand that it is sometimes beyond exhausting catering to the needs of the differently-abled I hope everybody understands that people like me didn’t choose to be this way if I could snap my fingers and not be in need of so much help I would if only to make life easier on the people I love but I can’t and honestly it sucks but I’m trying to make the best of it so I ask everyone to please stretch themselves in compassion towards differently-abled people because I didn’t choose to be this way it’s not my fault.
