“The person we’re most afraid of being caught alone with is ourselves.” – Paul Angone, The Death of Awkward (and why it is killing us)
It’s 12 : 46 PM on day 1812 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray, read Luke 2, publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing –Broccoli originated in Italy off of the Mediterranean. It has been eaten there since the time of the ancient Romans in the 6th Century BC– have breakfast and promote my Educate Generations campaign – $4 656 raised so far (so grateful ) only $47 more needed to reach my August goal (don’t ask me how I know but I know God is helping me even though I can’t see it 🙂 ) .
A few weeks ago I read The Death of Awkward (and why it is killing us) by Paul Angone I found what was said in the article to be so true most people today avoid awkwardness at all cost often using technology to do so which is sad because in the silence is where we are able to hear the unvarnished truth about our lives I wake up early in the morning (I’m beginning to think I have insomnia) and lie in bed just staring at the wall it is in those moments that I hear the truth about my life the truth is not always nice to hear but it needs to be heard nonetheless.
