Day 1685: Living and the Gradual Loss of Innocence

What hurts the most about living (don’t get me wrong I’m VERY grateful to be healthy and alive) is the gradual loss of innocence – that’s what I realized yesterday.

It’s 12 : 15 PM on day 1685 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray,  read Ezekiel 44, publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing – The construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1632 and was completed in 1653. It took a total of twenty two years to complete the construction of this monument.–  feed myself an  egg sandwich and a banana for breakfast  and  promote my Educate Generations campaign– $2 700 raised so far (SO GRATEFUL as always 🙂 ) .

Yesterday I realized that what hurts the most about living is the gradual loss of innocence with age I’ve learned some things that I’m glad to know and other things I would rather not have known when we are children we tend to see life through rose-coloured glasses but as we age it’s like those glasses disappear and we see people and things for who and what they really are it’s an excruciating experience.
