When you get an opportunity take it– that’s my message to myself and the world.
It’s 12 : 00 PM on day 1656 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, read Ezekiel 16, publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing –Polar bears actually have black skins and colourless hair.Their thick, hollow hairs reflect light to give its white-looking coat. Not only does this act as great camouflage in the snow, but it also makes very effective insulation.– feed myself an avocado sandwich for breakfast, promote my Educate Generations campaign– $2 558 raised so far I have a feeling we can raise $3000+ by October 3, 2015 with God working through us but we’ll have to wait and see 🙂 – and read 50 Ways to Brighten up Someone’s Day.
Recently I had a golden opportunity and I let it slip through my fingers because I felt like the setting wasn’t right to grab the opportunity if I could go back in time and do things differently I would but since I can’t I’m sharing my experience in the hopes that it will stop someone from making the same mistake.
Throughout my, not very long, life I learned one thing: everything happens or doesn’t happen for a reason. Don’t feel bad about not taking the opportunity … it might have not been the best, or the right time for it. Maybe there’s something better waiting for you. 😉 Keep doing what you do, dream big! I’m sure you will succeed with whatever you have in your mind and heart.
Sending you love and hugs!
Thanks Maddie I suppose you’re right 🙂
