Day 1637: My thoughts on India’s Daughter

There are some seriously sick people living in our world – that’s what I keep realizing.

It’s 1 : 30 PM on day 1637 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray,    read Lamentations 2, publish my Disability of the Day feature, publish my Kid of the Week feature, go to church, go visit family, feed myself egg with bread  for breakfast,    promote my  Educate Generations campaign  – three donations were made between yesterday and today Gaye Crispin donated $24, Paul And Kathleen Springer donated $50 and Julie Faughnan donated $48 (thank you SO MUCH Gaye, Paul, Kathleen and Julie without people like you guys supporting me my dream of making a difference would be just that a dream) which brings my total raised to $2 246  only $254 more to raise I’m SO GRATEFUL :) – and learn one new thing – For sea turtles, home is where the heart is.When it’s time to lay their eggs, female sea turtles return to the same nesting grounds where they were born.

Yesterday I watched India’s Daughter – a chilling documentary about the 2012 gang-rape that took place in New Delhi, India – my heart bled for Jyoti Singh and her parents who did everything in their power to make sure that their daughter was happy and empowered only for her to be brutally gang-raped and murdered.
