Day 1611: Bridging the gap between who you are and who you want to be

There will always be a gap between who you are and who you want to be all you can do is try to bridge that gap every day of your life – that’s what I realized this morning.

It’s 12 :  09 PM on day 1611 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to  brush my teeth, pray,    read Jeremiah 28, publish my Disability of the Day feature,  learn one new thing – Skin contains pain and temperature receptors, which are only sensitive to extreme hot or cold. The brain experiences both these sensations in the same way. Therefore, very cold and hot temperatures cause the same kind of pain, and the brain has trouble distinguishing between the two  – feed myself egg with bread and a banana for breakfast and  promote my Educate Generations campaign – my dad can be so sweet sometimes he turned 52 today and he said he didn’t want to do anything but he  offered to make a donation to the campaign if I wanted (Happy Birthday Day Daddy you must be the most technologically savvy old person I know LOL) – and read Motivational Monday: Positive Mantra’s.

This morning I realized that there will always be a gap between who you are and who you want to be all you can do is try to bridge that gap every day of your life which works out perfectly for me because there are things about myself that I like and then there are things about myself that I absolutely hate which I try to work on every day I’m not perfect and I’m not trying to be I just want to be all of who I was meant to be. Do you try to bridge the gap between who you are and who you want to be every day of your life?
