Day 1561: Envy and Me

“To feel envy is human, to savour schadenfreude is devilish.” ― Arthur Schopenhauer, On Human Nature

It’s 4 : 04 PM on day 1561 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray, brush my teeth,  read Isaiah 46,   publish my Disability of the Day feature, feed myself egg curry with bread for breakfast,   promote my Educate Generations campaign– Simon Magid who has donated before donated $25 yesterday (thank you Simon your ongoing support means the world to me) which brings my total raised to $1 215  only $1 285 more to raise to reach goal :) – and go visiting.

Yesterday I saw someone’s Facebook pictures and I felt slightly envious but now I realize that although I may never get to see the whole world God is opening new worlds for other people through me which makes me happy.

    Schadenfreude is a big word!

Nothing in the world and in all of creation is more wonderful and perfect than God. If you ask for God and get God, you will have everything.

Travel is overrated. And so are 5 star hotels. Live where you are and live that strongly, bravely and with an overflowing heart and you will have lived a life that is enviable by rich and poor, great and small, proud and humble…
