Day 1549: Malala Yousafzai Accepts the Nobel Peace Prize Today

“In some parts of the world, students are going to school every day. It’s their normal life. But in other part of the world, we are starving for education… it’s like a precious gift. It’s like a diamond.” – Malala Yousafzai

It’s 12 : 18 PM on day 1549 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, read Isaiah 34,   publish my Disability of the Day feature,   feed myself egg with bread for breakfast and promote my Educate Generations campaign–still on $1 090 but I continue to pray and work on so I know I will reach goal eventually meanwhile I’ll focus on raising awareness about the importance of girls’ education 🙂

Today Malala Yousafzai will take the stage in Norway with child advocate Kailash Satyarthi to accept the Nobel Peace Prize. Watch the Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony live at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6VQpB4kGtQ  today at 12:50pm – 2:40pm in UTC+01.
