Day 1428: NatGeo “My Brilliant Brain” featuring Susan Polgar

It’s 12  : 39  PM on day 1428 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, stretch my hamstrings,  feed myself a peanut butter sandwich and an orange for breakfast,  pray, read Psalm 116,   publish my Disability of the Day feature, and do research for my upcoming campaign   . 

 

Recently I watched NatGeo “My Brilliant Brain” featuring Susan Polgar– a documentary about how Susan was trained to be a chess grandmaster from a very young age – I found it fascinating that the human brain could create new connections with rigorous training.  Watch NatGeo “My Brilliant Brain” featuring Susan Polgar below:
