There’s no love like unconditional love – that’s what I keep realizing.

It’s 2  : 32 PM on day 1395 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to stretch my hamstrings, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles,  brush my teeth,  pray, read Psalm 82,  publish my Disability of the Day feature,   promote my Eradicate AIDS campaign – still on 108% – and go grocery shopping with my dad and sister

This morning I got emotional thinking about how the people in my life break their backs to help me – I have to be carried from my bed into my wheelchair and from my wheelchair onto the toilet – without so much as a complaint I don’t know if I would be as understanding or as helpful if I were in their shoes but I guess when you love someone there isn’t anything you wouldn’t do for them.
