The world doesn’t revolve around me – that’s what I have to keep reminding myself.

It’s 12  : 15 PM on day 1388 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray,read Psalm 75,  publish my Disability of the Day feature,  practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles, stretch my hamstrings and promote my Eradicate AIDS campaign – still on 89% I just want to cry I thought if I worked hard I would reach all my goals eventually but now I’m not so sure I’ve literally asked everyone I can think of to help me sadly it seems nobody even cares enough to share my Facebook statuses about my campaign.    .

This morning I was bummed about the underwhelming response to my campaign until I remembered that the world doesn’t revolve around me it is a sad but true fact of life that most people only watch out for themselves and their loved ones. Are you able to cope with the fact that people may not react the way you want them to because you know that the world doesn’t revolve around you?
