It doesn’t matter who you help or how you help all that matters is that you help– that’s what I realized today.
It’s 12 : 04 PM on day 1179 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray, brush my teeth, edit a website for some people, read 1 Chronicles 12, feed myself All Bran Flakes for breakfast, publish my Disability of the Day feature, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles, stretch my hamstrings and hang out with my family.
This morning after editing a website for some people I realized it doesn’t matter who you help or how you help all that matters is that you help. Do you only help specific people in specific ways or do you help everybody in every way that you can?
Hello Nisha
Ramon Thomas referred me to your blog. And to answer your question, I help who I can, where I can. These days I have a very big vegetable garden (gardening is a very strong hobby for me), and I give away a lot of my produce to the locals. Even what I sell, it’s at a very reasonable price (e.g. a bag of spinach to feed a family of 6 at R5 per bag). The money helps me buy more seeds, so I always have the resources to plant more veggies.
That’s awesome Damaria keep helping people 🙂
