It takes a village just to get me through the day  – that’s what I realized today.

It’s  5 : 20 PM on day 956 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray, read Numbers 9, stretch my hamstrings, brush my teeth,feed myself Bran Flakes for breakfast,  practice typing with both hands, work on this blog – as you can see there have been a few changes made to this blog please bare with me as I reconstruct this blog this blog just like me is a work in progress – take off my dirty t-shirt and put on a clean one, feed myself brown rice and curry for lunch and  go to physiotherapy.

Today I realized it takes a village just to get me through the day whether it’s going to the bathroom or changing my clothes I need someone’s help and sure sometimes it sucks not having the privacy that other people have but being helped by people makes me a more generous and humble human being let me tell you something there’s no place for ego when you need people to help you wipe your backside. Do you appreciate the village that helps you get through the day?
