Not every day is going to be easy and that’s okay– that’s what I keep learning 🙂
It’s 2 : 56 PM on day 952 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles, publish my Disability of the Day feature, practice typing with both hands, pray, read Numbers 5, feed myself bread and beans for breakfast, take off my dirty turtleneck and t-shirt and put a new t–shirt on – taking off my turtleneck I was afraid that I would burst a blood vessel in my brain or something that’s how much effort I was putting into it, it pisses me off when I hear people complain about paying taxes or not having enough money while I struggle every day to do simple things and still manage to put a smile on my face – stretch my hamstrings and tweet and Facebook about my campaign – still stuck on 6% with 84 days to go.
Today has been one of those days where everything took ages to do which is okay because going through tough days like this makes me appreciate the easy days. Do you expect every day to be a walk in the park?
I LOVE hearing from you feel free to leave a comment below.
