Day 924

Your birthday is a special time to celebrate the gift of ‘you’ to the world – Unknown

It’s 10 : 37 AM on day 924 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth,  pray, read Leviticus 4,  publish my Disability of the Day feature, practice typing with both hands, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles,  feed myself  Appam and baked beans for breakfast, take off my dirty t-shirt and put a clean t-shirt on and spend time with our neighbor – she’s so sweet she brought me a birthday gift whenever it’s someone’s birthday she comes by with a gift people don’t do that anymore it’s really cute 🙂

Today being my birthday I thought I’d share with you the greatest lessons I’ve learned in my 22 years of life. Take a look:

Greatest Lessons I’ve Learned In My 22 Years Of Life

  1. We are all more alike than we are different
  2. All of us just want to feel heard and understood
  3. What you seek from other people you have to give yourself first
  4. What matters is not how much you have but rather how much you give
  5. Enjoy the simple things in life
  6. Be grateful for all that you have because there are people out there who have less than you
  7. Never ever give up on anything in life because the difference between success and failure is perseverance

I LOVE hearing from you feel free to leave a comment below.
